Gaining Residency in Morocco

I am looking to move to Morocco, I have found a job in Marrakech, but they will only employ me if I already am a resident, as it is difficult for foreigners to be employed in Morocco. Employers need to prove that a Moroccan couldn't do the same job. I have heard that you either have to own property in Morocco, do a job a Moroccan couldn't or own a company in Morocco to get residency. The only option open to me would be to set up a Moroccan company in order to get residency and get this job that I want. I would intend to buy property later on if I settled permanently in Marrakech. So has anyone gone down the setting up a company route? Is it difficult, and are there any on-going costs once the company has been set up? Do you have to prove that the company is actually making money? Any help would be gratefully received.
