Looking for best area in Merida for me

It's difficult to choose a place for 2 months without actually going there first. I don't want to rely only on blog posts or YouTube.

I won't have a car, so I'd like to be close to a market and easy public transport access/do some shopping. I'm also a photographer and love exploring historical places etc.. however, my job also requires me to be on client calls most of the day so I can't be somewhere loud and noisy.

It seems I can be within walking distance and noisy or far from everything but quiet.

Can anyone with experience in areas in Merida lend some advice or tips on what areas I should look for that would be a "just right" area?
