UK citizen hoping to emigrate to USA

Hi everyone, this seems like a friendly site with really good advice -I wonder if anyone can help me out? We live in the UK but my son has dual nationality - he was born in the USA when I worked there 10 years ago (with J1 employer visas). I am seriously considering returning and now have a University degree and will be a qualified High School Teacher in 2011 - with Masters credits. I know it is extremely difficult for us in the UK to move to the US, it was a lot easier the first time I lived there. I don't have money to invest in business - I would only have my profession to rely on. I know my son cannot sponsor me until he is 21 - my british ex still lives there but obviously they are my son's family, not mine. Has anyone come across a scenario like this? I want to try and get an idea of whether its possible before I shell out any money for immigration lawyers. I would continue teaching, most likely in Florida. Is there a shortage of teachers in the US? Would my son's US citizenship have any bearing on this at all? Can schools act as 'employer sponsors'? Any advice anyone could offer would be really really appreciated, or if anyone has a similar story I would love to know. Thanks so much to anyone who can advise.
