District Nursing - help anyone

I am currently undertaking my district nursing degree in the UK and will qualify next July. My partner, my son and I want to migrate to New Zealand in 2007 with me obviously as a district nurse.
I would like to know about pay rates and conditions for nurses working out there. I know I qualify on the points system but its the more fundamental aspects of nursing there that I want to know about and the kinds of environment I would be working in. If anyone has any advice I would be really grateful
