Cost of Living

Hi,

I may be moving to Norway later this year with work. I know its pretty expensive, but can anyone advise about...

1) Are there any local government taxes in Norway ? In the UK, we have to pay a "Council Tax" of about £1200 directly to the local government. Is there anything similar in Norway ?

2) I have seen that cars are very expensive to buy in Norway, but what about the running costs. In the UK, I pay £110 per year "road tax" and about £275 per year in insurance. It costs about £150 for a good garage to service the car (oil change, air filter etc). What are the similar costs in Norway ?

3) Roughly how much are energy bills in Norway. In the UK I pay £28 per month for gas and £36 per month for electricity. Is it similar ?
