internation banking Norway

I will be moving to Norway soon and would like to know if expats in here have any advice on banking. I will still be paying a mortgage in the US and thought to open an account in either Citybank, HSBC or Well Fargo. I know none of these have offices in Norway but they appear to be the only international banks based in the US. I expect to have to transfer funds occasionally from the US to Norway for living expenses and purchasing a car. Can anyone relate their experience or advice?
