Considering a move

Hi there
My husband may have an opportunity to work in Oslo. We have an 8yr old child and we are all Germany Nationals currently living in the Caribbean. I would really appreciate any and all advice on the following:

I am a German national (by neutralisation), with English as my mother tongue and conversational German. We have been roaming expats for over 15 years. I have been a stay-at-home mum and homemaker for nearly a decade. If we move to Norway, I will need to get a job to support my husband, as he will be taking a huge cut in his current salary. When I worked, I was in Administration, mostly secretarial and PA positions in various industries. I know that in many countries, these positions are usually filled by locals, which I completely understand. I would even do housekeeping in a hotel, if that was where I needed to start. I guess my question is: would I be able to find work easily in or around Oslo? Entry-level / housekeeping / working in a grocery store, even. I am 40 and, as I’ve mentioned, been out of the workforce for nearly a decade, so I do not expect an office position.

Any advice would be appreciated.
