Using pensionado discounts for travel

Hello

I would like to understand how to arrange for air travel domestically and internationally using jubliado discounts and any cautions to be aware of.

Are there specific ticket agencies more reputable than others? Any personal experiences comparing Air Panama and Copa Air domestically? What about car rentals and waiting to arrange in Panama as opposed to reservations from US (where discounts unavailable)?

Planning to travel to Medellin and Uruguay while spending several months in Panama later this year.
