The word in Ecuador.....

The word is: Facilitator.
Guayaquil y Cuenca...
There are a few entrepreneurs for hire who can help expats/new immigrants to get their stuff accomplished.
Functionally bilingual
Local knowledge
Help to progress immigration
Help to check and purchase a vehicle
Maybe help to tour around to look for whatever.

Who I am looking for:
Likely a University student, 18 to 22 yrs.
One trying/struggling to learn English.
One who can work between his/her and my own schedules, that we can work around.
One with a knowledge of Sp. grammar AND vocabulary. Not just conversational lingo.
One with a concern for his/her personal health, fitness, sporting pursuits. A bonus! to my mind.

I'm Canuck. Incomplete post secondary. High IQ. Familiar with grammar, a huge conversational, technical, scientific and legal vocabulary.
I believe I can help Grad students (Masters/PhDs) to translate papers prior to publication in journals or English thesis papers if required in English - for some obscure reason. (e.g. The 'Merken Journal of Bankstering and money from thin air, 'Merken Journal of Mercurical dental fillings, 'Merken Journal of Genetically Modified and de-nutrifide Agriculture and applied genocide. Y'all know what Im tawken 'bout, and that's all I have te say .bout it)

I find a lot of good posts here on EE Peru. Questions and replies. There are just not as many issues covered that are applicable to my issues.
My Sp. conversational skills are truly not where I would like
I am certain that immersion will advance learning faster than more classes with mi Professora Colombiana.

Does anyone have any contact with any university students... or otherwise?
With anyone (facilitator) with a vehicle.
With anyone needing to advance their English language skills?
With tolerance to understand the difficulties old geezers have to learn a third language... 20 or 30 years past their prime.
