My company is preparing to move me from the US to the Manila area to work with our BPO partners. We are a small company and this will be our first experience with expatriation. If anyone has any information on visas, tax liability, AEPs, etc. I would be grateful. Here is my situation.
I will be working in the Philippines for around 2 years, possibly longer.
My company only exists in the US. Our partners are pre-existing BPO organizations and I will be working with them but not for them. My pay will be coming from a US company that is not incorporated in the Philippines.
So if anyone can point me in a good direction to find info on visas, work permits, tax liability, etc. That would be great. Any other info is welcome too. Thanks!
