I reached the 16 month limit and was told to leave and return to start over on my tourist visa..so I flew to Hong Kong..and when I returned the next day..I was refused re entry and told people on a tourist visa can no longer leave and return to start over..They wanted to put me on a plane back to Hong Kong..but instead gave me a Balikbayan stamp in my passport..which is only for foreigners who are married to a Filipina..I am not married and told them that..but they still gave me the stamp..good for one year..I was told when it expires..I must return to the usa..and I cant return again on a tourist visa..and if I do return I will be required to marry a Filipina in order to stay....They told me there is a new rule that was created on Nov 8th and went into effect April 16th 2012...WHY do they want to ban tourists from starting over?..They will lose millions in extension fees
