V.A. Direct Deposit in Pesos, not Dollars.

The V.A. makes special requests to deposit disability pay in Philippine banks with pesos or dollars. Does anyone have specific information and experience with having their pay deposited as pesos? Tell me the advantages and disadvantages but only if you have or had pesos deposited. I'd like to know if the exchange payout is higher than 42 pesos per dollar or if its lower. Your experience in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
