Was married in the philippines and now divorced in canada and want to marry new gf

Here's my story.
I was petitioned by my wife to canada, and got divorced after 2yrs after i arrived in canada (wife filed divorce)
We were married here in the philippines. Now i got my citizenship, is it possible that i marry my gf in the philippines since i am no longer a filipino citizen?
