moving to the Philippines as the spouse of a Filipino

HI,
my name is Richard, and I'm new to the forum, but I have been lurking a little. I appreciate the help you've given others, and I have been able to figure out most of it, but the idea of transferring my pension on a monthly basis, that's a difficult one. I have a credit union in the US, and am setting everything up with a direct deposit to that, and then I can pay $40 a wire transfer, or I can pay my bills (I'll be paying a few over there, and then use credit cards in the ROP...but it would be good to have a way to access cash, as well. Any suggestions? Also, have you seen any patterns of how to negotiate the system of visa applications in the states, vs. the ROP, as I'm now in LA, and my wife is already in our house in Antipolo. We've been keeping this simple, but I have to provide my forms to the consulate in Los Angeles. This is just a start, so please if you could attempt to give me the good steer, I can hit you on occasion with subsequent questions, if I have them.
Thanks, Richard
