Kids clothes and supplies

Hi! I'll be living in Manila for four months with my husband and three kids under five while my husband does medical rotations. I'm excited, but nervous. Any recommendations on clothes and gear to pack for the kids? I know it will be hot (February to June), but I also want them to protected from mosquitoes and the city environment. Shorts vs. pants? Tennis shoes vs. sandels? And how about diapers and wipes? Are they more expensive in the Philippines?
