Aging

First question for group. Recently, commentary on American chemist Richard Heck was made about his untimely death due to the atmosphere of deprivation. Nearly a half million dollars was awarded to him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2010, yet was apparently missing when searching for medical help in Manila in Oct. 2015. If I were Sherlock Holmes I'd deduced he got fleeced at the age of 80 by his caretakers. It could happen in America, but less likely, since most Westerners are acculturated and there remains safeguards. I'm about to move to RP and felt intimidated his demise in that fashion. Even friends of friends and spouses, can be tempted to make a quick killing, so to speak. I've been to several foreign countries, as a soldier, and this factor becomes more ominous as I grow older (67). So, please help inform me of my mistakes. Thanks for consideration.
