can my soon-to-be wife visit my family in the US

I would like my soon to be wife to be able to visit my grandmother before she passes as well as the rest of my immediate family in the US. We will not make this trip till after our marriage and she has no desire for a green card. We only want to stay for about three weeks to a month. From what I have read this is a difficult thing to do. The visa takes a long time and only so many people get approved. Does anyone have personal experience on this matter any advice would be helpful.
