Baguio

I'll be trying out Baguio very soon.
The temperature sounds wonderful,strawberries,vegetables fresh air etc.

What do I NEED to KNOW?

What are the more centralized areas/best areas to live?
Near malls I guess like in Cebu.
Transportation, is it jeepneys?

I've been trying out different places the last year and a half.

Please let me have some constructive USABLE advice if you live or have lived in Baguio.

I'm now visiting in Palawan. Puerto and El Nido (backpackers heaven) gouging capital - laughable prices for everything.
Beyond ridiculous!
To small Puerto for my taste. One mall, not even large enough to walk much.
