Hello. The wife and I are planning to retire to the Philippines in 2 to 3 years. She has family
in Cavite and Batangas. We are strongly considering the Tagaytay area. We plan to have a solid concrete house built once we find a suitable lot. I have found one contractor advertising "Waffle Box" prefabbed concrete house designs that look very interesting. Do any of you all have knowledge or experience of these type of houses? We will be coming over there next year for a visit. I have several questions and was hoping someone would like to converse via email so as not to bog down the website. I can ask them all here but it's up to the members. My wife and I will be in our early 60s when we retire in a couple years. So I'm trying to keep the "adventure" of moving there as manageable as possible. For-warned is fore-armed as they say. :) Also hopefully we wish to make some contacts in the Tagaytay area that we can maybe meet and make friends with. I appreciate any and all responses.
