Kitchen cabinets

We are starting are home construction in the tagbilaran Philippines.
We are living in the United States. This will be are retirement home in 7 to 10 years. My question is about kitchen cabinets. Are they made with concrete and forms(poured). Or do they have concrete backer boards. It seems like it would be easier to make the cabinets with the concrete board material. I have read that they don’t make cabinets out of wood.
