Opening a bank account

I need to open a Peso bank account to transfer my British earnings and make the required deposit the for the Philippine authorities to give me a visa to stay.

I use my girlfriend's account, but I am not comfortable with this.

My girlfriend asked about opening an account for me but was told I have to be resident for 1 year.

Does anyone know how I can get a peso bank account?

I only have Airbnb apartment.
