So my wife and i recently signed an intent to buy on a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home in Argao. It is waterfront in a gated community. The developer has a good reputation. Half the homes are already built and they are decent quality. My wife of 12 years is Filipina. We are both US citizens who currently spend 1 month a year in PI. She is from Cebu. We are planning on moving to the Philippines when we retire in the next few years. We would Air B and B the home until then. We used a realtor to locate the property. We will put 20% down. Already preapproved by PNB where we have a passbook checking acct. Any thoughts on Argao would love to talk to someone (Ex-Pat) currently living there. We did a lot of research before selecting this area. Wanted to be 2-3 hours from a major city in an area that is not too remote and is considered semi safe.
