Retiring/living in the Philippines / Expats in Tagaytay

Hello,
I am seeking any information on retiring/living in the Philippines. I currently live in Melbourne (Australian/British citizen).

I would appreciate any advice you might be able to provide on where I could find the relevant information.
Also, any Filipinos in Melbourne or expats living in the Philippines, who would be willing to speak with me (via email or Skype).

I'm especially looking for information regarding visa options, visa agents, how to find apartments/houses for rent, shipping goods to Philippines, any assistance upon arrival, etc. Speaking with any expats or Filipinos whom I could ask questions would also be very helpful.

I am planning to visit the Philippines this year and would like to make the most of my time there. I don't know a soul over there (yet!). Hence, it would be very helpful if I could contact visa agents, rental agents, expats, etc. before I arrive, so that I could meet with them when I am there. I think I would like to visit Tagaytay in particular, and it would be great to contact folks living here - however, anyone willing to chat and share would be most welcome!
