What to Do?

I am single. I can afford to stay there without working. I worry about getting bored? How would I fill my days? What is there to do there? What do people that live there, retired people, do? Any advice on how not to get bored?

I fear going there and suddenly having entire days to fill with things to do. That is a bit scary.

One friend works outside the Philippines to get money then comes back to relax. He has a family.

Is that what people do? Start families there?
