Just turning up

Hi all,
I am just planning on turning up next month on a one way ticket to live in Manila. No job or anything. I think I can find a job easy enough, thinking of finding a place in Makati. Does anyone think I will have a problem? I intend to stay for the rest of my natural, and yes I have been before. Anyone got any suggestions for cheap but nice accommodation in that area?
