The roof on the wife's house is corrugated metal over wood trusses. Then they used plywood for the interior ceilings. Some of the wood has moisture rot and termite damage. They will seal the leaks but and being told they will put an anti-termite sealant/treatment on the wood trusses and plywood.
We would prefer to have had a concrete roof but too many hoops to jump through and too costly at this point surveys, engineers, architects, etc.).
So here's my question. Do they sell pressure treated lumber in the Philippines? Not sure if that would be any better but I know it helps over here in the USA.
