Buying a new car

We are going to buy a new car. I was wondering if it is best to register it with LTO in my wife’s name since I am just on a Balikbyan Visa until I can get my 13 A. Also, most dealers are more like loan companies. When I ask for a cash discount, I get offers that vary from 5,000 php to 50,000 php. I always check the website carcomplaints.com It is a consumer database on every model, make, and year. For example the Subaru Forrester with all wheel drive is very dangerous when passing. The wheels are delivering drive that can crash you and you fight the wheel. That’s their 2018 model. They gave me a cash discount of 200,000 php. My main concern is whether I can register my buy in my name or should I stick with my wife’s name?
