We had concrete block walls that were plastered and painted. Every year the paint peeled and became discolored. So we tiled all our walls using different tile patterns for each room. Looks beautiful and never need to be repainted again. Some rooms, we used textured tile on the floors to prevent slipping. After a recent earthquake, a couple chunks of tile came off the wall. We used “good as nails”’ which was the perfect adhesive to stick the broken pieces back in place. For a classy look, consider tiling your walls. Prepare for the dust and machine noise, but really worth it.
