Buying property Angeles

I'm going to go against the advice I have read on this site about renting for a while before buying real estate.
My filipina wife and I have been living together for 10 months in the U.S. (after a 4.5 year battle with U.S. immigration for her to come here.

My question is about living close to Angeles City.
We are looking at property in a subdivision 10km out of Angeles City. We are a happy couple and we enjoy going out together for pool, movies and eating out.
Therefor, I am concerned about Angeles's reputation. I don't want prostitutes hitting up on me while we are out enjoying ourselves.

Anybody have first hand experience living in or close to Angles city?
