Hello Expats, I want to clarify to all expats in the Philippines that you need to do your own research about buying and owning land in the Philippines. a Foreigner can own land, house, condo. You can even buy it in your name only. I laugh when I read from others who say they cannot own anything . I bought my first condo and 1 hectare of land before I even met my wife and in my name only. My land is still in my name since 2002. It is easier and better to do this in the provinces . So don't believe from other foreigners about this. Check on your own.
