I am a 65 yr old American that wants to move to Davao to marry my Filipina Fiancee. I have Type II Diabetes, use insulin, but my A1-C is great (5.9), blood sugars run normal, and my Blood Pressure is on the lower side of normal. Will the Philippine Government allow me in? Also, I just read that in order for anyone to marry in the RP you have to have a Baptismal Certificate. I don't think I have one. Is this true?
