Stars are starting to line up

Hi all!
Longtime reader here of E. E. of 2+ years.
My thanks to all for their information which I have greatly learned from! I’m hoping to contribute as well in the future as I learn more.
I’m married to a wonderful filipina for 9+ years that has given me my only child, a daughter, currently 6 years old.
The stars are starting to line up for our plans of moving to the Philippines and we have started the planning process.
Would like to think that I’m familiar with the basics of moving there but will certainly need more direction in the future.
I’m hoping to find long term friends near to TayTay/Antipolo/Cianta area for conversation, and maybe activities. I’m 61 and moving from Michigan USA for most of the typical reasons mentioned here. We will also vacation there again (timeline not set yet) before our move, and I would like to meet others in the Manila metro area at that time.
