Retire Bagiuo Question

Yes, I know this topic is pounded here, but I am planning on retiring in 2 years, 56 years old. My wife of 30 years is filipina but has only been back to the country 4 times since we were married. She has been us citizen for 28 years. My question is, and I appreciate any and all advice, what are the drawbacks to living in Bagiuo? I know the road in and out is bad, but it doesnt seem many expats stay in Baguio, and I was wondering if that is accurate and why. I have about 2100 per month income and more once we reach ss age. As I stated, any suggestions I am grateful and open to listening. Subic, Bagiuo, Anywhere you guys reccommend we start looking. Going in Feb to scout and prepare. Her family location and issues are of no concern, great situation. Thanks fir any advice. I have Tricare for medical and health wise she has managed high blood pressure with meds, otherwise healthy couple. Looking for cooler weather, relaxed living, and we plan to rent for a couple of years to make sure its what we want. Willing to pack up and try different locations acrross country. Thanks
