Where can I walk, hike, run

Hi everyone - I'm a freelance travel/adventure/property writer, arrived in PH last month and I'm currently based in Quezon City but need to get outta here fast as the place is literally killing me! Medics have advised the traffic fumes have given me asthma and as a fitness fanatic I am missing the mountains, shores and open spaces of Canary Islands where I relocated from.

I'm struggling to find out where in Philippines - Luzon preferably - is a good bet to explore relocating to. I need a place that is totally walkable, no traffic fumes as extreme like Manila and has access basic good food like salads, fresh veg, meat, eggs.

Batangas, Subic, Tagaytay are being advised including by my GF but when I try to research these areas it's very hard to find info on the suitability of a place for walking, hiking etc that I am interested in. All I read about are the restaurants, malls etc!

If anyone knows of areas of PH where I can step out the front door and hike, run etc then please let me know your thoughts. Thanks everyone.
