EU visa and human trafficking

Hi,

All the best wishes to everyone for 2020.

I have been living for a few years in The Philippines but in all this time I never took my girlfriend (5 years relationship) to Europe. Main reason is that we were twice denied to fly to Singapore at the airport because of human trafficking. I guess that was the main reason even though that was not said. I have always worked as banker in Singapore and Hong Kong so I was very surprised that this happened.
My girlfriend is now so scared going abroad that I just wanted to check with you guys. If I arrange a EU visa via the embassy, do we have any trouble again at the airport or???
