Balikbayan Privilege

I am married to a Filipino lady and therefore I am eligible for the Balikbayan privilege which allows me to stay in the Philippines for up to one year. However, if someone stays more than six months they are subject to an exit interview by the BI.
Does this exit interview apply to someone in the Philippines on a Balikbayan privilege. Thank You!
