Best way to find a rental?

Hi folks,

Apologies if this is already covered, I couldn’t find a specific topic.

I’m considering moving over and wondering how foreigners go about finding rental properties in PH? Are there worthwhile websites, or does one need to trawl every real estate agent in their chosen province?

So far it seems properties generally require a 1 year lease, is this always the case?
