Is Martial Law coming to Luzon?

There were 900 new positive cases of Coronavirus in the last 72 hours in Manila. People in Manila are not following the enhanced quarantine guidelines. Duterte has stated that if the people in Manila do not follow the EQG, he will declare martial law there.

In Davao, there are no new cases in 72 hours, and everyone is following the EQG here except for private vehicles out after the 5;00 pm curfew. Now that will be stopped. Until April 26, there is a complete lockdown and closure of the city on weekends. Now Food and Medical passes are restricted: for the RED pass Mon., Wed. & Friday only. The Blue pass, Tuesday and Thursday only. The line up in Gmall grocery store to be let it takes 2 hours. All roads, docks and airports are closed. If you leave by car you cannot get back in. Tricycles are operating, but no cabs (which were allowed one passenger) or Jeepney’s. No cabs in Toril, Davao Del Sur (where we have 2 positive cases) can be seen anywhere. Face masks must be worn at all times and social distancing maintained. Davao City is still under Martial Law, but it’s coming to Manila is my guess.
