Delivery of Non-PH Mail

Good day all....

Currently I have 99.9% of my mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) delivered to a UPS store. This has worked very well for me.

Since I like this setup, both for security and privacy reasons, I asked the manager at the store about the possibility of them redirecting "all" my deliveries to me in PH. I was told that they do redirecting for other customers and it should be no problem to do that for me as well. I'll simply have to pay for shipping.

I will add that I also like this setup because I PRESUME that it will be a reasonable way (if not the only way in some cases) for me to get goods that will otherwise not ship direct to PH. (Not sure I'm correct on that presumption, so I'm open to feedback.)

So now I'm wondering several things:

1) How do you get your USPS (or whatever it is in your specific case) and other deliveries?

2) Can most of what a "typical Westerner" would want be obtained within PH itself? (I note that I wouldn't classify myself as a "typical Westerner"; more like a "no-frills minimalist from a Western country.)

3) If you have your deliveries come to your house, do you find that there are few if any issues with it being secure (ie., neither stolen nor tampered with)?

4) Are you aware of any companies in PH that operate like a UPS store (secure private acceptance of deliveries (as in no P.O. box but an actual, physical address)?

5) Recommendations for package/mail delivery?

Thank you!
