Hi everyone,
I’m a 58 year old Dutch guy looking for a new place to live.
Know South-East Asia good, been to almost al countries there and lived with a Thai woman for 14 years.
Since one year i got the diagnosis MS, mobility is limited. So I have to stop work and start to enjoy now??
Never been to Phillipines, but it seems to be a nice place to be, maybe less developed than Thailand, but beautiful nature and sealife. And Thailand feels like home, need some new adventure.
Off course I look around on internet, read on forums where will be a nice place to be.
First I like to rent a home for some months, till I’m sure what I want. If possible at the beach, love that.
My income will be about 2500Euro/month, in a few years about 3000+ That should be enough I think, with 2 flights to Europe a year.
I will need a maid for the daily chores and daily help in things.. Where to find that?
Looking at Cebu region because of the infrastructure looks good.
By the way, I don’t need medical care, there is no cure for my decease or other treatment.
But how will society looks at inabilities?
So, what do you think? Bad idea?
Thanks for input.
