I agree if you are taking a Filipina to the states who is much younger than you are or who looks much younger than you are, you would be fighting an uphill battle. She will encounter a lot of pressure and attention from Americans/Canadians. Men will talk about her being so much younger, women will become jealous. Many of these relationships end up with her making friends with the wrong people (who are advising her) and leaving the guy.

If it was a quick romance engagement, it probably wasn't based on love. She's only using you for several possible reasons. Unfortunately all those expats
that think the much younger Filipina loves them because they look so good, are probably fooling themselves. Those kind of deals hardly ever make it in the U.S. Now if you move back to the Philippines or stay in the Philippines the chances of a long term happy relationship is so much greater. it's acceptable for a female to marry someone much older than themselves.
