Always feeling like a foreigner in the RP ?

Despite growing up here and living 6 months Plus in this wonderful country . Why do I always feel like a foreigner, outsider, or even worse ? Is it me , or is it soothing embedded in the RP nationalistic culture ? I have always been treated well , on the whole in the RP .....but I get this lingering feeling , they put up with "outsiders' , despite outsiders supporting there economy .
What can be done about it for a "heads up" to people visiting or living in the country and so forth
