Medical Insurance Options in Philippines

I have just returned from Manila after a extended stay due to Covid 19. I am Canadian and plan to return next September on a full-time basis as I will be able to receive two Pensions at 60 and another two at 65.

The question I have is :

Has anyone been able to figure out what is the best Health Care policy that will be suitable for the Philippines. I have a budget of $200 per month that I can allocate to a Health Care plan but I wonder if it is better to just self-insure - I am in very good health so far and can probably ride out minor ailments ( I get Canada Health Care Free but only if I stay 6 months per year).

I have been going to the Philippines for years and I do know that any major health matters usually end bad there since Taxis double as Ambulances....
