I lived in the Philippines a long time. I always had a vehicle, car or motorcycle, usually both. I drove in Metro Manila almost everyday. One time I was riding my motorcycle in Chinatown looking for a certain company's office. I was driving slow as I was looking for address's. Due to my Philippine driving education my eyes hardly ever miss anything in front of me, whether it be 5 feet or 100 feet, In many ways it has made me a better driver today. I notice almost everything in front of me on the road. It happened so fast, I was looking for an address on the right side of the road. I didn't know what hit me. I was laying on the ground next to my motorcycle. I was confused, I didn't know what happened. I looked up and a horse was looking down at me. A Kalesa (horse and carriage) ran into me from the left side..... No serious damage to anything. Boy, was that crazy!!! Only in the Philippines....
