Balikbayan box

I'm aware of this decades-long tradition, and realize that early on the PH government implemented an accreditation process, with a resulting list (https://www.dti.gov.ph/konsyumer/accredited-seafreight-forwarders/).

Does anyone here have experience with balikbayan boxes shipping from the US? If so, would you be willing to post your thoughts?
