Private messages are sent to individuals for topics that are not beneficial nor meant to be seen by other members on the forum. At the same time this avenue is not there to open up the ability to insult or abuse anyone. Although it would also be more beneficial to everyone if private messages are used more often when the post is directed to an individual and has no benefit to the rest of the expat forum community. So let's use PM's more often but not for dismissive purposes.
