Updates and changes to the testing and quarantine protocols for Philippine-bound travels have been implemented due to recent COVID-19 developments. This is to make sure that both incoming travelers and locals feel safe and help keep the number of cases low in the coming days ahead.
Former Filipino citizens or Balikbayans from the Green and Yellow countries including the USA are allowed to enter the Philippines VISA-FREE. Foreigners are also allowed with a valid visa. Entry is subject to a mandatory hotel quarantine -- five (5) nights for the fully-vaccinated, while seven (7) nights for the partially-vaccinated/unvaccinated travelers.
All arriving travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, are required to undergo two RT-PCR tests conducted within 72 hours prior to departure from the country of origin and during the 5th day (for fully-vaxxed) or 7th day (for unvaccinated/partially-vaxxed) of hotel quarantine. Regardless of a negative result, they shall be required to undergo home quarantine up to the 14th day from the date of arrival.
