Transporting Dog and Cat

Here's where I need some help.

I want to transport a small dog and cat from Boston to Iloilo.

I want to bring the animals to New York by auto from Boston when I fly out next January. Philippines Air Lines allows them to travel as cargo in special crates.

So far, my plan is to have my niece drive me, my wife, the dog and the cat to JFK airport where we will fly out, non-stop, to Manila with a 2-hour layover en route to Iloilo.

That seems doable. My problem is getting a vet in the Boston area to help prepare the papers and other documents to get them on the plane.

The dog weighs 7 lbs. and the cat 9 lbs.

As I relocate to the RP, I just don't want to leave them behind. We will be living on a 25-acre family compound (and farm), there is plenty of room. But getting them there is where I need assistance.

Any helpful info will be appreciated.
