Medically retired. Recentley seperated. Looking to start life over in my early 40's

Am considering moving to the Philippines using my $4800/month pension. I also have a home in OK that is paid off which brings in $650/month. The Army was a life of constant adventure and I am lost living in Roanoke, VA. It's too quiet and I feeling I am wasting my life away doing nothing of note. With that kind of income, is the Philippines a place I could just travel to and find a place for myself and make friends and meet a new wife/partner?

Here in America $4,800 is enough to 'get by' but not to live' Will I be able to enjoy life again in the Philippines? To be clear I know part of that question depends on ME. I just mean....is it a place where I can realistically be able to. I find myself in a rut, just waiting around to die here in America. At the age of 42. And that's no way to live.

Thanks.

(To be clear: For personal reasons getting a job or finding a new profession is not really an option).
