1) Considering my age (63), it is possible I will need hospital care at some point in time. Besides Manila & Cebu, am I leaving myself at risk living in other areas or in deeper into the provinces? I was considering Dumaguete or Davao as my base camp.

2) I am currently on a few medications, including 1 controlled substance for occasional pain. Is it difficult to get medications in the Philippines?
